Sr. Network Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• The Network Engineer will have experience with Cisco router/switch .
• Preference is for candidate to have existing current CCIE , CCNP certification in Route Switch and/or Datacenter with extensive knowledge relating to Wide Area Network. (T-1, MPLS, VPN Tunnels), Local Area Networks
• Advanced Routing knowledge of TCP/UDP, SNMP, EIGRP, BGP, QoS, VLAN, Vxlan, VoIP, SIP, H.264, H323, PSTN/Dial Plans, Multicast.
• Proficiency working within Linux and Microsoft Operating Systems.
• Proficiency using Windows 7/Office Suite/Visio/Project/SharePoint, LogicMonitor, Solarwinds, PRTG, WireShark, Radius, SecureCRT or similar tools.
• Cisco UCS chassis, Fabric interconnects and Cisco 9K’s Cisco Catalyst 6800 Core Switching·Minimum of five years experience deploying and supporting scalable routed and switched network·
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-class routers, switches, and firewalls, including Cisco and non-Cisco equipment
• Experience with Bluecoat Proxy and/or equivalent a plus
• Experience with F5 Load balancers a plus
• Good understanding of network and routing protocols (DNS, DHCP, EIGRP, BGP, PIM &Multicast.
• Experience with systems administration in a mixed Linux/Windows enterprise environment experience implementing, operating, and supporting open source tools for network and security. monitoring and management on Linux/Unix platform
